All imagery used by Aero-Data is converted to a digital image using the highest quality photogrammetric scanner available in today's market. Unlike other scanners, our Leica DSW 200 is specifically designed for aerial photography and is able to produce a digital image without creating any of the distortion that is typically encountered with conventional flatbed scanners. While most projects are scanned at 12.5 microns (true 2,032 dpi) to provide superb digital imagery, our scanner can also be calibrated to go as high as 10 microns, should that level of resolution be required.
